The design for a new-build residence of approx. 27,000 sq ft on the Wentworth Estate in Surrey, is nearing completion.
The concept of the villa follows the picturesque tradition of the English 18th century Villa in the park often found in the architecture of Nash and his contemporaries. This is in keeping with the free-standing villas in the neighbouring context. The building is built with load-bearing Portland stone, in the traditional manner by master craftsmen, with hand-carved embellishments for the capitals and friezes. The interiors of the house are designed in collaboration with Louise Jones.
