Jan Hauger, B.Arch (Hons), B.A. LASc (Hons), is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He has been with Stanhope Gate Architecture since April 2008.
Jan has overseen the refurbishment and expansion of several large central London Grade-II and II* houses and terrace houses, as well as four substantial residences in the Middle East and Central Asia, two in the Classical style and the other two in a traditional Islamic style. He currently leads two substantial refurbishments in Kensington and Bayswater and a new-build country house in Surrey. He became Associate Director in January 2011 and Director in June 2016. In his previous position as an Associate at ADAM Architecture he was Design Coordinator for the architecture and interiors of several prestigious new-build country houses throughout England. Jan gained his Certificate in Professional Practice and Management in Architecture at the Bartlett, University College, London, in 2007. He is Membership Secretary of the Traditional Architecture Group and a member of INTBAU and the Society for the Protection of Ancient Monuments.
